  • Expectation of Service on Committee

Each class rep is expected to serve on the Trinity Fund Committee and, in a reunion year, the Reunion Committee.
  • Pledges & Gifts

Each class rep should be a giving leader by making a pledge or gift of any amount at the start of each year's fund drive in the fall.
  • Phonathons & Class Participation

Each class rep shall be expected to attend a minimum of two phonathons a year, or conduct an equivalent effort at reaching out to class members to secure their annual gifts and maximize class participation.
  • Reaching Out to Classmates

Class reps should also reach out to their classmates throughout the year to notify them of upcoming events, alert them of alumni programs, and collect notes for the school's alumni magazine. This can be done informally and through emails drafted and sent through the alumni office.

Becoming a Class Representative

Alumni interested in becoming a class rep should contact Trinity's Alumni office to discuss his/her interest and the position's expectations. Prospective new class reps are encouraged to participate in outreach activities for one year, at which point, in consultation with the alumni office, they can decide whether or not to serve a full term.
Class reps can serve a term of up to 5 years or until the next class reunion, whichever comes first. At the conclusion of Reunion, class reps may be invited to serve another term beginning the following fiscal year. There is no limit on how many terms a class rep may serve. Class reps who wish to step down prior to finishing a term may do so in writing by contacting the alumni office.
